Not only great for connecting your Roku to the internet, but equally qualified to handle your XBOX, PS3, Wii, Computer Router etc! Easy to run, Colored to camaflage well against your baseboards. Order 2 and sell one to a neighbor for enough to cover the cost of both vs. paying full retail at the big box stores!<td></tr></table>

does this mean i can only order 1 movie at a time but have unlimited hours watching on my pc
cause i read on another yahoo answer that u pay $1 for every hour or something!

http://www.netflix.com/HowItWorks

That’s the plan I use and I like it a lot. I ordered the free disc so I can watch movies on my TV through my PS3. You get one movie at a time and they mail you a new one from your queue as soon as they receive the last one. You can watch online as much as you want. There used to be a limit and you had a certain number of hours you could watch online that was relative to the amount you paid each month for your plan (so you could watch for 9 hours with the $8.99 plan for instance). They don’t have every movie available online but they have a pretty good assortment. I was thinking of canceling Netflix but now I watch the online stuff more than the discs.

I tried looking everywhere but no luck. I have checked the Netflix faqs and it is indeed possible to watch on a mac and mine meets the system requirements. I have read in a few places that silverlight is needed. If someone could tell me the steps that would greatly help me out. The Netflix FAQ is terrible.

First be sure to have Netflix account and then go to the Watch Instantly tab. After hitting Play on the desired movie it will bring you to another page with a player. On that page it will inform you if you need plugins to be installed.

Make sure that Flash and Silverlight are installed (you can find flash on adobe.com and silverlight on microsoft.com).

“Shared graphics 224MB ” doesn’t actually mean anything it doesn’t tell us what make/model the gfx card actually is so it’s impossible to make a call on it’s game playing ability. The fact that it’s using shared memory is a bad idea straight off the bat though it means the machine doesn’t actually have 1GB of RAM because the gfx card is ‘stealing’ a chunk of the RAM to use for itself. If you really must play games on a laptop and it’s a bad idea in general because only the most expensive laptops are any good for games then you need one that’s got a proper branded (i.e. nVidia or ATI) card that’s got it’s own onboard RAM and doesn’t share memory with the system.

Ideally I would like to stream not download a video collection from an Amazon S3 bucket to a local DLNA Media Server/Application. Anyone know of a solution

The best way is probably through an HTPC or a Home Theater Personal Computer. If you decide on going this route I recommend building the system yourself. You will save quite a bit of money.

I’m a new seller on Amazon and I just sold two textbooks. I shipped them and everything.

But since I’m new at this I wanted to know the different advice I should know about being a seller.

I’ve done a little research and I’ve learned that some sellers are duped because a buyer would demand a refund of their money hoping that the seller would do so and not even send the book back.

OR it could be that the buyer had a worse condition of the book receive the newer book and demand a refund stating that they received the book worse than what was described. Thus giving back the book with the worse condition.

Not only that I know someone who sold a book on Amazon and now has to refund the money because the buyer said it got water damage which was not the seller’s fault AT ALL. And the book never had water damage when the seller shipped it.

What should I know being a new seller Is there anything I should know rules I should know things I should do to protect the book and advice I should know as well

Thanks ahead of time!

always use tracking number. If you print your postage online you can usually get tracking for only 19 cents (at least that’s been my experience with Endicia.com) even if you ship via media mail.

But you can also buy tracking (delivery confirmation) at the post office for 75 cents.

this means the buyer can’t scam you nearly as easily.

If they try to scam you with a swapped book fight them tooth and nail. You will end up dealing with their credit card company and they will ask you for information.

But please don’t worry too much about any of this. The vast majority of buyers are honest. Otherwise you wouldn’t see booksellers on amazon by the thousands . THey all would have packed up and left if it was so risky.

You no longer have to be sitting at your computer to hear your music, nor do you need to burn your Internet-sourced audio to CDs to import it to the living room. Just plug the M500 into your integrated amplifier or surround receiver and you can listen to all your digital music on your stereo or multichannel speaker system. The M500 includes a built-in 802.11b WiFi card slot (with card) for wireless use and an RJ-45/Cat5 Ethernet port for hard-wired connections. The M500 features a 40-character, two-line LCD display that shows the track and artist name. Take a closer look. The SoundBridge is compatible with WMA, MP3, AAC, AIFF, and WAV music formats right out of the box. Further, its native support for Apple Rendezvous and iTunes means the M500 is instantly ready to play your Apple media--no additional software is required, as you're already set up for Rendezvous or iTunes. Just enable iTunes' sharing feature (though please be aware that iTunes Music Store "Protected AAC" files are not supported). SoundBridge uses Apple's DAAP (digital audio access protocol) to communicate directly with iTunes, and reduces its network bandwidth by decoding AAC files in the player rather than in the computer. PC owners, meanwhile, will delight in the SoundBridge's built-in Windows Media Connect, Windows Media Player 10, and Rhapsody support. The device also works with any music service using Windows Media DRM 10, such as Napster, MusicMatch, and Walmart.com. All told, the M500 is the most compatible music player around. The M500's side panel includes RCA analog, coaxial digital, and optical Toslink digital outputs. With the M500's convenient remote control, it's easy to browse, select, and control your music from across the room, or you can control playback from your computer using the intuitive web interface. The M500 also offers an easy-to-read 40-character, two-line LCD display that shows the artist name, track name, and a few other details. The SoundBridge offers Internet radio access, too, bringing you a selection of free music and talk-radio stations (with up to 10 station presets). Roku's Fast Browse feature lets you browse huge music collections by album, artist, genre, or composer (providing your files are properly encoded with said details). You can also play your stored iTunes playlists or use the keyword search to find the title you seek. Beyond its WiFi and RJ-45 interfaces, the M500 offers straight-ahead audio connections: a gold-plated line-level RCA output and S/PDIF coaxial and optical Toslink digital outputs (one each) for those that want a pure digital connection with a surround receiver or a CD or minidisc recorder. In addition, Roku has outfitted the SoundBridge with a super-fast, 400 MHz Blackfin DSP and 16 MB of DRAM memory, giving it more than enough headroom to handle future software updates. Finally, the SoundBridge's sleek industrial design looks comfortable anywhere of the house, and even fits conveniently on the wall or under a shelf or cabinet using Roku's optional mounting accessory. The M500 measures 10 inches wide by 2.37 inches in diameter and is backed by a one-year warranty. What's in the Box M500 SoundBridge receiver, custom remote control, two AAA batteries, localized power adapter, 802.11b CompactFlash WiFi card, 3.5 mm-to-RCA cable, detachable rubber base, user's manual.<td></tr></table>
