I tend to like the older anime shows like from the 80s and 90s the romantic high school ones. I like the music too. The show is so sentimental and deep unlike a lot of silly american kids shows. i love the characters too… I was thinking about buying some of the Marmalade Boy DVDs off amazon. so i can watch the rest of the episodes. is this a good idea who else likes marmalade boy

The XHD6425 allows playback of your favorite MP3 and WMA files recorded on CD-R and CD- RW discs. Its powerful on-board DSP processor decodes the compressed audio while maintaining near-CD sound quality. An internal SRAM buffer provides ESP (ElectronicSkip Protection) to virtually eliminate skipping and allows alphanumeric or direct track search--even while a song is currently playing. Finally, add the BTM60 Bluetooth module and enjoy hands-free calling and streaming from compatible Bluetooth devices. Built-in HD radio reception, front panel USB, and plenty more. Click to enlarge. Front-panel auxiliary input and USB port. Includes wireless remote. Bluetooth Ready Add the BTM60 Bluetooth module and you'll enjoy wireless, hands-free mobile phone operation with caller ID, along with streaming audio from Bluetooth audio devices. You can also answer and place calls using front panel controls. Front Panel USB Connection Connect a USB device to the XHD6425's front panel USB port and play MP3/WMA files directly. Most standard USB devices will also receive a charge (DC 5V/500mA). 1-DIN HD Radio Receiver The XHD6425 features a 1.0 DIN chassis with an anti-theft detachable face. A black/white dot matrix display and rotary encoder control make navigating the device a snap. HD Radio Tuner With the XHD6425's built-in HD Radio tuner, you'll enjoy static-free, digital-quality sound over the airwaves. Both HD2 and HD3 FM multicast channels are supported, and broadcasted info like station name, artist and song title on HD Radio channels is displayed. Store your favorite HD stations among the standard 18 FM and 12 AM presets. Enjoy a new standard of radio with no subscription fees. AM/FM Tuner In with the new, but not necessarily out with the old. Tune into your favorite non-HD AM and FM stations, and save up to 30 station presets (18 FM/12 AM). Run Auto Station Store when in a new area to add the strongest signals, and easily scan through your presets. CD/MP3/WMA Playback Enjoy your favorite CDs and CD-R/RWs with all the standard CD controls (random/repeat/intro/etc.), or go big and burn a MP3/WMA encoded CD-R/RW for hours of music and display of ID3 Tag info. Convenience Is Key Dual threw in some features that'll make you love the XHD6425. A programmable turn-on volume keeps you from blowing your ears out when you head to work in the morning--unless that's what you need to wake up. Keyless CD eject means you can grab that CD on your way out without turning on the vehicle. You can also select the confirmation beep for changing settings/presets/etc. Great Sound The XHD6425 features an on-board processor that will improve the sound of your compressed MP3/WMA files. Get quick access to electronic volume, bass, treble, balance, and fader controls, or select one of the 5 preset EQ curves--pop, jazz, classic, beat, and rock. A loudness feature is included for low-level listening with punch, and a mute function for quick sound-off. Input and Output Two pairs of preamp outputs are provided for system expansion if you want to add to the XHD6425's 17 Watts RMS (50W peak). A 3.5mm front panel input is also included for use with iPods, MP3 players, or other external audio devices. What's in the Box Dual XHD6425 receiver, trim ring, mounting sleeve, wiring harness, installation hardware, installation/owner's manual<td></tr></table>

I found some on dvd too but theyre seperated like Book 1 Water Volume 2 or Book 3 Fire Volume 3. I dont understand why its seperated like that and its so complicated. is there anywhere i can get it where its just 3 simple dvds season 1 2 and 3 just in one pack

There is no simple package with all in one but if you go to amazon you can get the book 1 collection book 2 collection and book 3 collection which are three simple packages. I also recomend getting the book 1 limited edition on dvd becuase its cheaper than the regular book 1 package and it comes with way more features!

Today I was very excited when I bought my new DVD box-set containing all 5 of the “Saw” movies (just released into UK today March 9th 2009). I paid 40 for it. I have a very good habit of inspecting my discs before taking them home and I found a scuff-mark on the 5th disc so I took my purchase back into the shop and asked them to replace the one disc for me. The man tried to clean the mark off and I wasn’t happy about this and said “I’ve already tried that but I would still like you to replace that disc.”

Then the shop-man challenged me and asked “is it skipping”

I said “I don’t know. I only just bought it a minute ago and checked it outside before taking it home.”

He said “Well if you haven’t watched it yet then how do you know it’s skipping”

I got pissed off and said really firmly “IT DOESN’T MATTER IF IT’S SKIPPING OR NOT! I PAID 40 FOR THIS DVD BOX-SET AND I DESERVE THE BEST!”

The man said absolutely nothing after this and when the disc was replaced I was satisfied with my purchase and took it home also feeling proud that I didn’t cave in this time (read on to understand what I mean when I say “cave in”).

I was also hard on the man because I’ve been treated like this a few times in the past when on rare occasions I’ve purchased an already-scratched disc and the store assistant tried to persuade me to accept it and keep it. So I got angry when it happened again.

Was I within my rights to demand the disc be replaced because of it having scratches on the disc or did I go too far

You were absolutely with in you rights. When you pay for something new it should BE new. Not marked up or scratched.

Customer Questions and Answers:Movie Channel or Super Channel

I’d rather watch new(er) movies once they come out on a Pay-channel service. Which one has more newer movies than the other. Plus I’m not that fond of specialty shows that are only found on some of these pay-channels.

I’m not familiar with Super Channel but I can tell you that the Movie Channel is usually much older films. Once movies are done at the Showtime networks they go to the Movie Channel.

It’s just like Starz and how after they are done playing on the Starz channels they all end up on Encore. So Movie Channel is a 2nd Tier service and they will not have the first run movies (at least for cable after they are through w/ PPV).

Thank God its summer though

Since I have this much needed break I have gone through my DVDs and watched Gundam Seed…and doing so reminded me why I fell in love with the series. When I was in high school I (like a lot of teenagers) listen to music before going to bed…and I would always listen to the songs from various anime well the slow songs and the next thing I know…I wake up in the morning and they’re still playing b/c I fell asleep with my MP3 player. But I still do that and it’s a bad habit I will have to break.

Anyway soundtracks from GS and different anime are on my MP3 player and no matter how much I listen to them I don’t get the feeling of…I guess its nostalgia that I used to when I was able to watch all of my favorite anime quite regularly for the most part.I find it strange that I can still read write and fall in love with fanfiction as usual but the songs don’t have as strong of an effect on me as they once did.

Initially I thought that this was occurring because of people who have admonished me in the past by saying “that’s for kids” and “you need to mature and get over that foolishness” (but these are the same people who watch Transformers and Ironman mind you)….

After thinking about it I just chop it up to the fact that the demands of college have prohibited me from using a lot of freetime at my desired discretion..aka “anime withdrawal.”

Does anyone agree with my theory Oh…and any suggestions which may aid me into enjoying these beautiful songs a bit more is much appreciated

P.S.-The example about Transformers and Ironman in no way attempts to suggest that they were juvenile…I just used that to convey the irony of the situation.

Yes you have a serious addiction to anime. I suggest you go to AA ya know Anime Anonymous. JK who cares what people think. I like the way I am. Do you like who you are I don’t know you but I like who you are. Anime peoples are the best. I listen to anime to go to bed. right now I have loveless playing in the front room and Death Note playing in my room on the computer. XD. I have just as bad addiction to manga too. I have anime and manga withdraws. Speaking of which I just got a new manga so I’m gonna cut this short. Have a nice day. Watch more anime to curb those cravings.

I’ve been dealing with a sporatically malfunctioning computer since I custom built it two years ago. Since last year the motherboard video card powersupply and harddrive have all been replaced. I replaced the first WD HD due to the fact that it disappeared in BIOS and could not be found with either linux or ubuntu boot disks. The motherboard had a bunch of problems including boot issues that seemed to be a problem but before I was sure we got a nice powersurge during a lightning storm and afterward no longer had a network card working. After these replacements the problem has only changed shape but not really gone away.

I torrent a lot. Not a huge amount of stuff but enough that it could be a problem if that sort of thing can cause problems. I download at max a few gigs a month but sometimes I upload for a few days straight. I rarely shut the PC down. I only play one relatively low demand MMO on it and really only use it to watch tv shows from DVDs or my HD – and sometimes video editing with windows movie maker.

Recently (in the past year) it has been getting disk read errors. Usually I fight with them until it spends a few days refusing to boot. I reformat with a slightly modified version of windows xp and the problem goes away. …except the disk boot errors started getting closer together. And took longer to go away. Also sometimes the desktop would just lag like a 8 year old pc running windows 95 – and sometimes also freeze so I’d have to reboot.

Recently the new HD (still western digital different model) has been vanishing from BIOS again. I tried to run check disk after three boot failures and a bluescreen of death (that’s new. Got a 0×00000077 0xC0000185 and 0×00A00000). I used the repair console in a copy of windows xp that came with my laptop only to have it tell me that the C: drive was missing or there were nonrecoverable errors.

After an unsuccessful boot during which it told me that I had no hd it ran the checkdisk even though it never confirmed that it could. When it got to the desktop it froze again after I tried to open internet explorer with numlock and caps lock not registering on the keyboard nothing changing but the mouse still moving around.
I rebooted and suddenly my second monitor (different model from my primary kinda old) gets a blue tint to it.
Then the HD vanished again.
Then it booted to the desktop and acted like nothing had happened.

Temperatures look fine on the desktop and I ran memtest and tested 500 mb of memory. It was using half my CPU. Running multiple memtests just made my computer hate me. And then crash.
I have never updated any type of firmware but I keep my graphics card drivers up to date and have to update a ton of other drivers after each reboot. I don’t remember which ones offhand.

I’ve read quite a few forums all of which suggest the problem lies in most of the things I’ve changed or checked (motherboard memory if cables are plugged in video card power supply). I thought about changing the sata cable to see if that was the issue but then the blue tint happened and it makes me think that either I’m really unlucky and a ton of stuff happened at once or something important isn’t working

I keep things backed up because I’m used to reformatting several times a month. I’ve never had a problem with my 5 year old Dell laptop (had the same computer use habits when I used it as a primary computer for three years now its a secondary computer) though but I keep getting crazy errors on my desktop since I got it. And I mean crazy. Nobody yet has managed to properly fix any of the situations I’ve come up with. Anyway it means that I do not have many things on the HD of my pc (so probably not something to do with fragments or whatever) and that salvaging information won’t be an issue.

Any thoughts

Motherboard : Gigabyte 770 ATX AMD
Video Card: Radeon HD4670 running dual monitors with it
Harddrive: Western Digital Caviar Blue (WD6400AAKS) Sata HD
2x 1gb ram sticks
AMD dual core processor

I had a similar issue with a Western Digital HD that I used to have on my rig. It would constantly create bad sectors and I would have to reformat my system just to get it working again. Sometimes I could go a couple months without any problems and sometimes just a week. Then one day I realized that I must have accidentally connected both a SATA and a molex connector to it during the build (I was somewhat inexperienced at the time). However I was never actually able to confirm that was the issue as I haven’t used it since. Unlikely as it is you have have done the same thing and that might possibly be the issue. If that doesn’t work it may just be a manufacturer issue.

As far as the HD vanishing entirely you could try upgrading the BIOS if it isn’t already resetting the BIOS settings making sure the connectors are snug or trying a different power connector. If you finally do get it do appear again but still have issues the only thing I can suggest would be to run Check/Scandisk or a diagnostic tool from the WD website to keep the sectors clean and possibly CCleaner to fix registry errors as that may also be part of the problem.

You should also read the names of the BSoDs when they occur and do a google search to see if you can find out any more info.
